Shane earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona. He worked several years as an engineer for the Boeing Company in Seattle, Washington.
Inspired to continue his education and pursue a career in law, Shane enrolled at Seattle University School of Law and earned his J.D. there in 2004. His experience in law school while working at the Ronald E. Peterson Bankruptcy Law Clinic was a key factor in his decision to practice bankruptcy and consumer law and assist those facing financial hardship.
Shane currently volunteers part time for the King County Bar Association’s Seattle Debt Clinic, where he provides advice to low-income debtors with credit problems, pending garnishments, foreclosures, and Chapter 7 bankruptcy preparation. He also dedicates much of his practice representing consumers in civil litigation matters involving fair debt collection and bankruptcy.
